Steam keeps validating game files tf2
You can do it manually from the properties tab by right clicking in the game list.If something goes whacky with your game, this sometimes fixes it.Some older games don’t play nice with multiple CPU cores on modern computers.Common symptoms include glitchy, jumpy animations and the animations playing too fast – the game’s animations may even be out of sync with the audio. Starting from today every time I start it up, it validates the steam cache files. One time I somehow managed to launch it, then my computer crashed because it was running to much stuff and now I can't get back on at all.
I don't know, it doesn't make much sense, since the download just happened and should not have been corrupt.
Be sure to close Steam completely (click the Steam menu at the top of the Steam window and select Exit) before deleting this file.
Steam periodically detects the closest download server to you.
Right-click your taskbar and select Start Task Manager to open the task manager.
Be sure to change Steam’s CPU affinity back to the default – using all cores – before launching a demanding, modern game.
Corrupted files can also cause a multitude of other odd game bugs.
